COVENANTS OF GOD
Welcome to the Awakening With God Devotional for August 31st.
Topic: HAPPINESS. Key: COMMITMENT.
Message of the day: God's covenants are eternal testimonies of His faithfulness and unchanging love for His people.
Based on the biblical verse from GENESIS 17:7 which says: And I will keep my covenant with you and with your seed after you in their generations.
Teaching: God establishes covenants that assure us of His constant presence and His eternal commitment to us.
Biblical Experience: The covenant with Noah promised never again to destroy the earth by flood, with the rainbow as the eternal symbol of that promise.
Recent Story: A young couple studies God's covenants during their marriage preparation, building their relationship on the solid rock of His truth and faithfulness.
Prayer: O God of covenants, help me to trust in your eternal commitments and to live always under the trust of your promises and love.
Action: Study and reflect on God's covenants, allowing each to strengthen your faith and bring peace to all your circumstances.
Reflection: Reflect on how God's covenants continually connect us to Him and to each other, ensuring a path to hope and eternal promise from now on and forever.

HEBREWS 9:15
Therefore he is the mediator of a new covenant, so that through death for the remission of the transgressions that were under the first covenant, those who are called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.
JEREMIAH 31:33
But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put my law in their minds, and I will write it in their hearts.
Spiritual Echo:
God’s covenants are the assurance that His love never changes and His faithfulness endures through all generations. Every fulfilled promise reminds us that we do not walk alone, but under the covering of an eternal commitment. Just as the rainbow was a sign of hope for Noah, God also leaves visible marks of His care and purpose in our lives. To trust in His covenants is to live in peace, knowing that His word is firm and unshakable. In every covenant beats the heart of a God who ties His eternity to our story.
