ETHICAL PRINCIPLES

Welcome to the Awakening With God Devotional for September 19th.

Topic: DISCIPLINE. Key: MORAL.

Message of the day: Living according to ethical principles reflects our morality and commitment to divine values.

Based on the biblical verse from MICAH 6:8 which says: Do justice, love mercy, and humble yourself before your God.

Teaching: True morality is expressed in justice, mercy, and humility, these ethical principles being fundamental in the life of the believer.

Biblical Experience: Daniel, a young Hebrew in Babylon, lived according to his ethical principles. Although he was far from home, he refused to defile himself with real food, remaining true to his convictions and being blessed by God with wisdom and prominence.

Recent Story: Alicia, an executive, decided to implement justice and transparency practices in her company, inspired by her faith principles. Not only did this foster an ethical work environment, but it also improved team morale and proved that morality brings prosperity.

Prayer: Just and merciful God, guide me to live according to your principles, demonstrating justice, compassion, and humility in all my actions.

Action: Cultivate and practice daily the ethical principles of justice, mercy, and humility in your interactions and decisions, honoring God.

Reflection: In a world where moral lines are often blurred, upholding our ethical principles becomes an act of courage and faith, surprising others with the lasting impact of true integrity.

Let's study the following two Bible Concordances in detail to expand on this concept:

PROVERBS 21:3

To do justice and judgment is more pleasing to Jehovah than sacrifice.

PSALM 25:21

Integrity and righteousness protect me, for in you I hope.

Spiritual Echo:

Living guided by ethical principles connects us to the deepest part of our morality and invites us to act with justice, compassion, and humility. Every decision we make from integrity reflects our faith and leaves a mark on those around us. True discipline is not imposed but arises from the commitment to live consistently with our values. By remaining faithful to these principles, we discover inner strength and the ability to transform our surroundings, showing that ethics and faith are forces that build meaningful lives and communities.

God blesses us today and always.
