GREATNESS OF CREATION

Welcome to the Awakening With God Devotional for June 25th.

Topic: Discipline. Key: Mountain.

The mountains are a reminder of the majestic greatness and power of the Creator.

Based on the biblical verse from PSALM 121 1-2 which says: I will lift up my eyes to the mountains; Where will my help come from? My help comes from Jehovah.

As we contemplate the vastness of the mountains, we are led to remember the greatness and strength of God before whom all creation bows down.

Biblical Experience: Moses climbed Mount Sinai to meet God, receiving the commandments that would cement an eternal covenant with His people.

Recent Experience: A hiker, upon reaching the top of a mountain, feels a special connection with God, being inspired by the beauty and serenity of the divine landscape.

Prayer: Lord, as I contemplate your creation, let me always recognize your glory and power reflected in every mountain and valley.

Action: Get out and experience nature, allowing the mountains and other wonders to inspire you to deeper worship and reflection.

Reflection: Think about how the majesty of the mountains reflects God's eternal glory and encourages a more intimate fellowship with Him.

I leave you with 2 Biblical Concordances to expand on the concept:

PSALM 95 4

In his hand are the depths of the earth, and the heights of the mountains are his.

ISAIAH 2 2

It shall come to pass in the last days that the mountain of the house of the Lord shall be established as the chief of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills.

God bless us today and always.
