Welcome to the Awakening With God Devotional for July 2nd.
Topic: Peace. Key: Sky.
Message of the day: Heaven, our eternal home, is the ultimate promise of hope and joy fulfilled in God.
Based on the biblical verse from JOHN 14:2 which says: In my Father's house there are many mansions; I am therefore going to prepare a place for you.
Teaching: We know that, at the end of our earthly journey, heaven awaits us as a gift of eternal love and communion with God.
Biblical Experience: John's vision in Revelation presents us with a glorious picture of heaven, where there is no more pain or weeping, only the eternal presence of God and the Lamb.
Recent Experience: A woman, after facing a serious illness, finds comfort and hope as she prepares spiritually for her eternal home, testifying of Christ's redeeming love until the last moment.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for the promise of heaven, our eternal home. Help me to live with hope and purpose according to your kingdom.
Action: Cultivate in your life a constant hope in the promise of heaven, which guides your actions and words towards love and service with eternal gaze.
Reflection: Think about how the focus on our heavenly home can change the perspective of our daily lives, filling it with hope and confidence in the final destination prepared by God's love.
