INTRODUCING GOD
Welcome to the Awakening With God Devotional for September 18th.
Topic: HOPE. Key: OFFERING.
Message of the day: The offering presented to God should be sincere and reflect a heart full of gratitude and devotion.
Based on the biblical verse from 2ND OF CORINTHIANS 9:7 which says: Each one gives as he has purposed in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
Teaching: As we present our offerings, we should do so with a joyful heart, giving freely as an expression of our love and gratitude to God.
Biblical Experience: In the Old Testament, the widow presented two small coins as an offering in the temple. Although her gift was humble compared to others, Jesus highlighted her sacrifice and sincerity, underscoring that she gave everything she had from the heart.
Recent Story: Mary decided to dedicate one day a month to volunteer in her church, seeing her time as an offering to God. This practice not only strengthened her relationship with God, but filled her life with joy and purpose demonstrated through her genuine devotion.
Prayer: Lord, help me to present my offerings to you with a joyful and thankful heart, trusting that my sincere devotion is the greatest offering I can give you.
Action: Give generously from the heart, whether with resources, time, or talents, as an expression of gratitude and sincere worship toward God.
Reflection: Let us remember that our offerings, when given with sincerity and love, are acts of worship that transcend material value, reflecting the true nature of our relationship with God and others.

Presenting our offerings to God is more than giving material things; it is offering from a sincere heart filled with gratitude.
