LIGHT IN THE DARKNESS
Welcome to the Awakening With God Devotional for July 28th.
Topic: HAPPINESS. Key: HOPE.
Message of the day: Faith-based hope guides us like a light in the darkness, providing us with direction and comfort.
Based on the biblical verse from 2ND OF SAMUEL 22:29 which says: For thou art my lamp, O Lord; Jehovah shines light on my darkness.
Teaching: Hope shines where there is faith, illuminating difficult days with the promise of God's goodness.
Biblical Experience: God made a covenant with Noah after the flood, displaying a rainbow as a sign of the continued hope and presence of His promise to save.
Recent Experience: A family faces uncertain times, but as they focus their trust on God's promise and find light and peace, even in the darkest night.
Prayer: Eternal God, my hope is in you; Be my light in times of uncertainty and my eternal guide in all things.
Action: Keep the vibrant light of hope that comes from your faith every step of the way, ensuring that it illuminates your decisions and guides those you encounter.
Reflection: Reflect on how each act of hope not only dispels personal darkness but also invites others to find lasting hope in divine love and faithfulness.
