MAKING CHOICES OF FAITH

Welcome to the Awakening With God Devotional for June 29th.
Topic: Peace. Key: Decide.
Making decisions based on faith aligns us with God's will and produces a thriving spiritual life.
Based on the biblical verse from 1st of Corinthians 10:23 which says: Everything is allowed, but not everything is convenient. Everything is permitted, but not everything builds.
Every choice we make reinforces or challenges our faith, guiding our path toward the fulfillment of God's purpose.
Biblical Experience: Joshua challenged the people of Israel to choose to serve the Lord, marking a path of commitment and devotion.
Recent Experience: A young university student, facing social pressures, strongly chooses to adhere to his spiritual values, serving as an example to his peers and inspiring positive change.
Prayer: Lord, guide me in every decision, may my choices always reflect my faith and love for you.
Action: It ensures that every choice made comes from a place of prayer and reflection, and reflects a genuine commitment to the faith you profess.
Reflection: Reflect on how each choice, motivated by faith, can not only shape your personal path, but also impact those in your life with strength and hope.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
JOSHUA 24:15
And if it seems wrong to serve the Lord, choose today whom you will serve, but I and my household will serve the Lord.
