MEMORIES OF FAITH
Welcome to the Awakening With God Devotional for August 4th.
Topic: HAPPINESS. Key: REMEMBER.
Message of the day: The memories of faith are treasures that remind us of God's faithfulness through the generations.
Based on the biblical verse from 1ST OF CHRONICLES 16:12 which says: Remember the wonders he wrought, his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth.
Teaching: Remembering moments of faith strengthens our confidence in God's future promises.
Biblical Experience: The people of Israel often erected stone altars to remember how God had guided and saved them at critical moments.
Recent Experience: A family gathers annually to share stories of how God has guided and provided in their lives, keeping alive the memory of His generosity and care.
Prayer: Lord, help me to always remember your acts of faith in my life and to share these memories as a testament to your eternal love.
Action: Make a habit of writing down and remembering the significant moments of faith in your life, using these memories as a solid foundation on which to build your future faith.
Reflection: Reflect on how remembering God's past works strengthens our spirits and prepares us to face current and future challenges with courage and faith.
