MOMENTS OF REFLECTION
Welcome to the Awakening With God Devotional for August 13th.
Topic: GRATITUDE. Key: ENCOUNTER.
Message of the day: Reflective encounters provide space for spiritual renewal and communion with God and with brothers and sisters.
Based on the biblical verse from MATTHEW 18:20 which says: Where two or three gather in my name, there I am in the midst of them.
Teaching: In collective communion and reflection we find strength and direction in our spiritual journey.
Biblical Experience: The disciples gathered in the upper room, reflecting and waiting together, in unity until the coming of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost.
Recent Story: Geisen and a group of friends host monthly retreats to reflect and pray, strengthening their relationships with God and each other as they seek greater direction and peace.
Prayer: O Lord, may our encounters be opportunities to renew our faith, guided by your spirit through shared love and reflection.
Action: Open your encounters with prayer and reflection, letting God be in your midst, transforming those moments into true spiritual experiences.
Reflection: Reflect on how every encounter in communion can become a time to discover and experience God's depth and love in the company of others.

They persevered in the apostles' doctrine, in fellowship with one another, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.
Spiritual Echo:
In every sincere gathering, the presence of God becomes tangible, filling our hearts with peace and purpose. Communion with other believers not only strengthens faith but also opens paths to receive divine guidance. Just as in Pentecost, waiting in unity brings spiritual renewal. Gratitude turns every meeting into a living altar where God’s love is manifested. Praying and reflecting together is allowing His Spirit to transform our lives. In true fellowship, we discover the depth of eternal love.
