PEACE OF HEART
Welcome to the Awakening With God Devotional for September 6th.
Topic: PEACE. Key: COMFORTABLE.
Message of the day: True peace in the heart is found in the internalization of God's love and wisdom.
Based on the biblical verse from JOHN 14:27 which says: Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you; I do not give it to you as the world gives it. Let not your heart be troubled, nor let it be afraid.
Teaching: The peace Christ offers is deep and lasting, covering every uncertainty with His heavenly tranquility.
Biblical Experience: Jesus, in his last moments with the disciples, assured them of a peace that does not depend on external circumstances but on an inner trust in his love and constant presence.
Recent Story: Emma found true peace after deciding to leave a stressful job for a career that, while less lucrative, filled her with purpose and joy. His story teaches that authentic peace goes beyond material comfort, rooted in the heart at ease by the divine presence.
Prayer: Lord, fill my heart with your peace, helping me to rest in your presence and wisdom every step of the way.
Action: Allow your heart to rest in the peace that only Christ can give, recognizing in every moment His compassion and truth.
Reflection: Understanding that true peace is a divine gift, we face each day with a secure heart, amazed at how its calming presence transforms every challenge into an opportunity to learn and grow.
