PREPARE SPIRITUALLY

Welcome to the Awakening With God Devotional for September 17th.

Topic: PRAYER. Key: BUNDLE.

Message of the day: Spiritual preparation is more than the outer wrapping; it is a profound process of internal transformation.

Based on the biblical verse from 1ST OF SAMUEL 16:7 which says: You see that Jehovah does not look at what man sees; for man looks at what is before his eyes, but the Lord looks at the heart.

Teaching: God focuses on the heart rather than on outward appearances, inviting us to an authentic spiritual preparation that goes beyond the superficial.

Biblical Experience: Samuel was sent by God to anoint the next king of Israel, and although impressive in appearance, Eliab was not the chosen one. God instructed Samuel not to be carried away by outward appearances, but to see the heart, finally choosing David, a great faithful shepherd with a pure heart.

Recent Story: Carlos decided to dedicate time to his spiritual development instead of focusing solely on material achievements. By learning to seek a more genuine connection with God, he found peace and a clearer purpose in his life, showing that true spiritual preparation is truly internal.

Prayer: Lord, grant me a prepared and pure heart, focused on what truly matters, and always seeking a deeper connection with you.

Action: Focus on daily spiritual preparation, allowing your heart to be transformed and aligned with divine values.

Reflection: True spiritual preparation lies in understanding that God sees beyond our outward actions, looking toward the ongoing inner transformation that aligns our lives with His will.

Let's study the following two Bible Concordances in detail to expand on this concept:

PSALM 51:10

Create in me, O God, a clean heart, and renew a right spirit within me.

ROMANS 12:2

Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is good, acceptable, and perfect will of God.

Spiritual Echo:

In that sincere search we find peace, clarity, and purpose, because what truly matters is not what we show, but what we cultivate in silence. By nurturing our inner self through prayer and surrender, we discover the

strength that connects us to the divine and prepares us to live with authenticity and fullness.

LIGHT: Learn, Inspire, Grow, Honor, Trust the Word of God – guides us.
