RETURN TO THE HOUSE
Welcome to the Awakening With God Devotional for October 21st.
Topic: FAITH. Key: SAVE.
Message of the day: Like the prodigal who returns home, salvation is our return to the Father's house.
Based on the biblical verse from LUKE 15:24 which says: For this my son was dead, and is alive again; had been lost and is found.
Teaching: Salvation reunites us with God, being the eternal home where the heart ultimately rests.
Biblical Experience: The parable of the prodigal son shows how the Father's love always awaits and celebrates the return of the children with grace and joy, illuminating the way back home.
Recent Story: In a sincere act of repentance and renunciation, Dory returned to the faith after years, finding in her community a welcome where grace and love restored her identity, calling others to rediscover their path.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for Your eternal home, which always welcomes us with open love and celebrates our return with joy.
Action: Find moments to contemplate the goodness of home in God and share the invitation for others to discover this salvation as well.
Reflection: Returning home, to the safety and love of God, brings calm to our restless soul, always surprising us with the inexhaustible depth of His mercy and eternal love.
Let's study the following two Bible Concordances in detail to expand on this concept:
JOHN 14:2
In my Father's house there are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you; I am therefore going to prepare a place for you.
ISAIAH 55:7
Let the wicked forsake his way, and the wicked man his thoughts, and let him return to the Lord, who will have mercy on him.
Spiritual Echo:
Salvation is the glorious return to the Father's House, an eternal home awaiting us with open arms, reflecting the inexhaustible love of the prodigal son's parable. Our Father celebrates with joy every reunion, for to Him, what was lost has been found, and what was dead has revived. Contemplate the immensity of this mercy; find peace in His security and share the joyful invitation for others to discover rest in His love.
God blesses us today and always.
