RETURN TO WHOLENESS
Welcome to the Awakening With God Devotional for October 20th.
Topic: HAPPINESS. Key: RESTORE.
Message of the day: The restoration of love and relationships returns us to divine wholeness, healing hearts and fostering peace.
Based on the biblical verse from PSALM 133:1 which says: See how good and how delightful it is to dwell the brethren together in harmony.
Teaching: Restoring relationships brings us closer to God's purpose, making us fuller and stronger as a community.
Biblical Experience: Jacob and Esau, after years of discord, experienced restoration in their fraternal encounter, demonstrating that love overcomes hatred and opens the door to reconciliation.
Recent Story: After a prolonged family discussion, Mary found God's grace to seek reconciliation with her sister, bringing new light and understanding into their lives, and demonstrating the beautiful fullness that restoration offers.
Prayer: Lord of love, allow your grace to restore broken relationships, returning us to a life of peace and fulfillment in community.
Action: Practice reconciliation, always valuing the unity and divine love that restores and renews every broken bond.
Reflection: Experiencing restoration leads us to a place of surprise, healing, and unity, restoring not only our lives but also the image of God in our daily relationships.
