SEPTEMBER
WISDOM
The month of September is a perfect time to evaluate how we are aligning our lives with the principles and teachings of the Bible.
In Proverbs 2 6–7, we are reminded that, “For the Lord gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding. He holds success in store for the upright, He is a shield to those whose walk is blameless.”
This passage encourages us to actively seek the wisdom that God offers, so that we may make sound decisions and live a life that honors Him.
Let us renew our personal and spiritual commitment to God, seeking to be transformed into His image.
In Romans 12 1–2, Paul exhorts us: “Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this
is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve
what God’s will is—His good, pleasing and perfect will.”
May this month of September inspire us to seek a deeper wisdom of God’s will.
