Welcome to the Awakening With God Devotional for October 9th.
Topic: HOPE. Key: RESOURCES.
Message of the day: Spiritual gifts and abilities are special God-given resources to bless others.
Based on the biblical verse from 1ST OF CORINTHIANS 12:7 which says: To each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for profit.
Teaching: Our abilities are divine gifts meant to build faith and help in the Christian community.
Biblical Experience: Bezalel was filled with God's Spirit in his ability to design the tabernacle, exemplifying how God grants special abilities to accomplish His work.
Recent Story: Axel decided to use his artistic talent to illustrate biblical stories, inspiring young people in his church to appreciate them in fresh and visual ways. Her skills opened doors to understanding and faith within her community.
Prayer: Wonderful God, let my abilities be used to glorify You and benefit others.
Action: Identify your skills and put them at the service of your community, building the church with love and dedication.
Reflection: By using our gifts and abilities for the common good, we not only flourish spiritually, but we are amazed at what God can accomplish through us.
Let's study the following two Bible Concordances in detail to expand on this concept:
ROMANS 12:6-8
Therefore, since we have different gifts according to the grace given to us, if that of prophecy, let it be used according to the measure of faith; or if of service, in serving; or the one who teaches, in teaching.
EPHESIANS 2:10
For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand for us to walk in.
Spiritual Echo:
God has given us unique talents that are keys to sowing hope and blessing in those around us. Every skill we develop becomes a channel of His love and an opportunity to serve with joy. When we place our gifts at the service of others, we experience the fullness of His work in action. May our creativity and effort always reflect His living Spirit within us. Today, discover your special resource and use it to brighten lives with grace and purpose.
