STEP FORWARD
Welcome to the Awakening With God Devotional for September 5th.
Topic: PRAYER. Key: MOVEMENT.
Message of the day: Advancing our faith is a continual movement toward God's purpose for us.
Based on the biblical verse from MATTHEW 6:12 which says: Forgive us our trespasses, just as we forgive those who trespass against us.
Teaching: Forward movement in our spiritual lives requires constant action and commitment.
Biblical Experience: When Peter walked on water, he stepped forward in faith, showing us that advancing God's promise often involves risk and faith.
Recent Story: Faced with an unexpected change in his career, Juan trusted that this move was part of the divine plan, which increased his confidence to move forward and seek a new direction.
Prayer: Lord, give me the strength to continue to move forward in my faith, trusting that each step brings me closer to your perfect purpose.
Action: Take a step of faith and move toward what God is calling you to do, trusting that He is with you along the way.
Reflection: As we move forward with faith and determination, we discover incredible purposes and surprising paths in the life that God has planned for us.

Spiritual Echo:
Every step of faith is a movement forward that pulls us out of comfort and brings us closer to God’s purpose. Moving ahead requires trust that God upholds our steps even when the path seems uncertain. Forgiveness, obedience, and perseverance become the driving force of our spiritual journey. Like Peter on the water, we discover that faith opens paths where there was once only fear. Thus, every step forward is a victory that draws us closer to God’s heart and His eternal plans.
