THE WAIT FOR THE SAVIOR
Welcome to the Awakening With God Devotional for July 13th.
Topic: LOVE. Key: MESSIANISM.
Message of the day: Expectation of the Savior impels us to live with hope, expectant of the fulfillment of God's promise.
Based on the biblical verse from HEBREWS 2:8 which says: We are silent, and we have hope, because we do not yet see everything under subjection.
Teaching: Waiting for the Messiah gives us purpose, knowing that one day all promises will be fulfilled in his glory.
Biblical Experience: Simeon waited patiently in the temple, eager to see the promised salvation, and celebrated Jesus' arrival with joy and praise.
Recent Experience: One family keeps the traditions of Advent alive, teaching their children the importance of waiting and preparing for Christ's glorious return.
Prayer: Lord, help me to live each day with firm hope in your return, letting my life be a testament of joy and faith in your fulfilled promise.
Action: Cultivate an atmosphere of tangible hope in your home and community, remembering and celebrating God's promises of salvation and eternal love.
Reflection: Reflect on how active waiting for the Savior is a daily affirmation of faith, during which every action acknowledges God's unfailing love and promises.
