WHO FREES THE CHAINS
Welcome to the Awakening With God Devotional for October 2nd.
Topic: FAITH. Key: RELEASE.
Message of the day: Jesus is the deliverer, breaking chains and bringing freedom to the captives.
Based on the biblical verse from JOHN 8:32 which says: And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.
Teaching: We find true freedom in Christ, who breaks every chain and frees us from our past.
Biblical Experience: After years of slavery in Egypt, the Israelites were set free by Moses, led by God into the promised land, symbolizing deliverance and new life.
Recent Story: Paula, after years of addiction, found redemption and freedom in a faith-centered support group. Her courageous struggle and liberation led her to help others, surprising her community with a miracle of transformation.
Prayer: God of freedom, help me to embrace the truth that frees me from all bondage, leading me to a life of wholeness and service.
Action: Recognize spiritual and emotional chains, seeking the truth and freedom that only Christ can offer.
Reflection: By allowing Jesus to break our chains, we discover that freedom goes beyond the physical or mental, impacting every aspect of life and leaving an indelible mark of love and grace.

ROMANS 8:1-2
Now therefore there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has delivered me from the law of sin and death.

Be steadfast, then, in the liberty with which Christ made us free, and be not again subject to the yoke of slavery.
Spiritual Echo:
In Christ we find the true freedom that breaks chains and transforms lives. His truth enlightens our minds and strengthens our hearts, showing us that nothing can keep us captive when we walk in His grace. Every step of faith moves us away from the slavery of the past and closer to a life full of purpose. He turns pain into testimony and weakness into strength, making our story a reflection of His redeeming power. Each day we are amazed by the glorious freedom that only Jesus can give.
